Teen Tab is a private allowance ledger for parents. Each child starts the week with a set amount, and you adjust it from there — deductions for missed responsibilities, bonuses for going above and beyond, and a payment record when you actually hand over the cash.

No — and that's intentional. Chores and money are tracked separately. Checking off a chore doesn't automatically change your child's balance. You decide when something earns a deduction or a bonus. That keeps you in control instead of the app.

Every week starts with your child's allowance added to their running balance. Deductions subtract from it, bonuses add to it, and if they end the week negative, that carries into the next week. There's no hiding from it.

It's how you log that you actually paid your child. Their balance drops by that amount. No money moves through the app — it's just the ledger entry that says the tab was settled.

Teen Tab comes with a built-in library of chores organized into Farm, Home, School, and Other categories. Browse the library and assign chores to each child, setting the frequency and time for each one. You can also add your own custom chores to the library.
